Spin the old valve off of the resin tank.
Siphon off excess water without removing resin.
Use water pressure to release and remove the riser pipe.

   

Cut the new riser pipe to fit and bevel the edge with a file.
The new riser pipe fits into the new valve.

   

Use water pressure to set the new riser pipe into the resin tank.
The top of the riser pipe should line up with the top of the tank.

       

Connect inlet and outlet to your existing plumbing.
Connect drain line and brine tank.

I also have the Clack WS-1 control valve available in place of the Fleck 2510SE.
